Country Fair

Hi lovely peeps! <3
Afgelopen zaterdag was het zo ver, de Country Fair in Surhuisterveen. De buurtvereniging vierde hiermee het 40 jarig bestaan van de buurt Blauhûs. Er waren allerlei activiteiten te doen, maar ook werden er spulletjes verkocht door o.a kinderen van de buurt. Ook ik had mijn eigen stekkie om wat spulletjes te verkopen, maar in principe was ik daar om een fotoreportage te maken en een aftermovie. Het verkopen viel helaas ook tegen, maar heb toch een klein beetje geld verdiend, altijd handig!

Simmerdeis Festival

Sommigen van jullie zullen het misschien al weten, maar dit weekend ben ik te vinden bij het festival Simmerdeis. Ik loop stage bij dit festival en ben er dus als pers aanwezig. Dit festival is georganiseerd door  Schouwburg de Lawei. Op dit festival vind je muziek, theater en kunst. De meeste activiteiten zijn in het Slingepark in Drachten. Alle leeftijden zijn welkom. Als je langs komt laat het me dan even weten en als je me ziet lopen, spreek me dan gerust aan. Hope to see you there!

Launchparty Hippe-Schoenen

I was invited for the launchparty of the webshop Hippe-Schoenen.nl a while ago. I went to the launceparty last Monday in Amsterdam together with my sister. Hippe-Schoenen sells shoes imported from America in neoncolors and special designs. Sharon, the owner, told me that she wanted to be different than the most webshops and I have to say her webshop really makes the difference! I really like the shoes and I'm going to order some soon.

If you follow me on twitter or facebook, you should've known that I was at the Dutch Youtube Gathering yesterday. It's a meet up for Dutch youtubers and their fans. The funny thing is, that almost every 'famous' youtuber actually recognized me from last year or twitter and that's so awesome! I had a really nice day with and met some new people. I've been interviewed 3 times and I'm in the teaser of the official video yay! And ofcourse did I record and made pictures! The pictures are made by Ineke so all the rights of the pics belongs to her.

Purple Friday (Floor is coming out)

Yesterday was it Purple Friday in the Netherlands. The day that we fight against Homofobia. It's important for me to fight for such things. I know a lot of people who are gay, lesbian or bisexual. My sister is lesbian and I'm bisexual. It's hard to say such things in this world, because a lot of people are negative about this. I know it for sure for like 3 years or something, but talk about it for like a year I guess. I mostly look at boys though. It's much easier. To find a girl while you are a girl is difficult, because you don't know if she's straight, bi, or lesbian if you don't even know her! Anyways I never had a girlfriend, but have kissed a girl once. I'm happy with Merijn and I hope we'll be together forever, if not I'll try to catch a girl haha!

Glamour Night

I went to the Life & Garden Glamour Night in Opende yesterday. I made a video which I will upload as soon as possible and my sister made pictures. Because of doing a great job we are invited for a V.I.P event to make pictures and recording there as well! I'm so glad that I've got this chance and can't wait for that event!

I'm really really sorry for no posts the last 3 days but I wasn't at home that much.
Last Saturday was the Dutch Youtube Gathering and it was so fun, like 700 - 800 people were out there! I met so nice people and I'm sure I will go there again next time!! Ofcourse I made pictures and video parts so I put them together in the video. Please watch it! EO Jongerendag 2011

Tomorrow is the EO Jongerendag 2011 in 'Het Gelredome' in Arnhem. Actually would I go to this festival, but I didn't get permission. Today I had to go to my work and I became so dizzy while I was cycling that I had to go home. A man who saw me sitting on the ground brought me back home. In the afternoon I visited the doctor and tuesday I have to do a blood test, Because my blood pressure is too low and my oxygen grade is higher than average. It's ashame that I can't go to the EO Jongerendag tomorrow. I hope my boyfriend can come for some hours, because my parents aren't home tomorrow...

Ladiesnight

Afgelopen Woensdag was bij ons in het dorp het event Ladiesnight. Michiel en ik waren als pers van TVyo en een radiozender waar Michiel radiodj is, bij dit evenement aanwezig. Het report moet nog worden gemonteerd, maar daarna zal hij zo snel mogelijk online komen te staan! Het event was een groot succes. Er werd tijdens het afbreken rondgeroepen dat er ruim 1400 mensen zijn geweest! Er was van alles te doen en je kon van alles kopen. Zelf heb ik een nagellakje en armband gekocht. Ook heb een glittertattoo laten zetten.

Day Without Shoes

Vandaag is de dag; Day Without Shoes. Dit is een actie, om te denken aan de arme kinderen die helemaal geen schoenen hebben en te voelen hoe dat nou eigenlijk is. Drie vriendinnen van mij en ik hebben vandaag op sokken door school gelopen. Velen vonden het raar, maar de leraren stonden in ieder geval achter het idee!
